Volleyball rules and fundamentals

 

History:

Volleyball was invented in the USA by William Morgan, an instructor at the YMCA, back in 1895.

 

Object of the game:

Use three hits or fewer to hit the ball over the net and into the opponents’ court so the opponent can’t return it back to your side.

 

Rally scoring rules:

A point is scored by the team that wins the rally. It does not matter which team served.
